Corporate Banking services large-caps and financial institutions in the Netherlands (turnover > EUR 500 mln) with advice and a wide range of range of products. With regards to Investment Banking: although a number of specialties are part of the RBS acquired businesses, others remained at ABN AMRO. These form the basis for the rebuilding the status of ABN AMRO as a top investment bank in the Netherlands.

• The Corporate Finance group supports clients in all phases and all aspects of the merger & acquisition process.
• Capital Structure Advisory supports clients in analysing mid-term financial implications of their strategic choices.
• Leveraged Finance (LF) supports clients in financing acquisitions. LF has a leading position in the Netherlands, maintaining an extensive network of contacts with private equity investors.
• ABN AMRO Participaties invests venture capital, varying from EUR 5 million to EUR 30 million in companies in almost all sectors. This can result in both minority and majority shareholdings.
• Structured Funding & Investments (SF&I) arranges transactions in which a form of arbitrage on mostly (inter-)national regulations results in attractive returns, both for the bank and our clients.
